zenryokubatankyu: the road is a battle field, all the other cars are your enemies, and not using turn signals gives you an Advantage against then (Dear Chasey Lain I wrote to explain)
🌖 IC

🌙 SEXUALITY & PREFERENCES: Pansexual! M/M preference, but M/F also accepted. Bottom preference, but topping also possible. No exact preference for age limits so long as it's allowed in-game (and isn't, y'know, weird). If you're uncertain, ask first!
🌙 PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Detail how your character would respond to any affection and/or detail the following.
🌙 HUGGING: He's very huggable. This is a top-tier squishy bean lad. Hug him and he'll probably be happy to hug back as long as you don't catch him at a bad time.
🌙 KISSING: Definitely open to it. He'll be confused if it's spur-of-the-moment with no buildup, but he won't entirely say no to it as long as the person isn't someone he absolutely dislikes. Expect him to need some training, though.
🌙 FLIRTING: Yes! He likes flirting. He's kind of a goof, though, so note that he thinks he's a lot more sensual than he actually is. If someone flirts with him right away he'll be surprised but probably receptive.
🌙 RELATIONSHIPS: Osomatsu...is a character used to not getting much romantic attention. At all, actually. Or sexual attention. He's been frustrated in that department ever since high school, so he's very conflicted as to being dumped on what he's mentally dubbed 'Fuck Island'. He's probably not DTF with strangers first thing unless there's something else convincing him, but he's definitely there for all that. Preferably he'd also like to be treated nice outside of being just a decent lay to his common partners, but y'know. Just cuddle him sometimes, he's yours.

🌙 PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: He has no supernatural powers, even if he's been described by canon materials as 'the best fighter in his family', and that's a family of six adult men counting him. So he's trying to avoid physical violence unless it's the kinky kind, in which case he's down as long as the precautions are taken, there's a safeword, and he's not brutally suffering.
🌙 DEATH: No. Nuh-uh. Sorry!
🌙 OFF LIMITS: Not a trigger for the mun, but Osomatsu himself responds poorly to scenarios involving gun violence directed towards him and kidnapping. This is tied to an incident he went through as a child with a man named 'Tougou', who attempted to kidnap him away from his home after Osomatsu correctly identified him as a thief - but not before forcing him to help rob people and use a gun himself. He can't use guns - he'll freeze up if he holds one and immediately drop it, and it's enough to send him into a panic attack if it is focused too much in on.

🌖 OOC

🌙 BACKTAGGING: Y
🌙 FOURTHWALLING: Y - Osomatsu-San has a very thin fourth wall anyway, so I mean...
🌙 HANDWAVING/DROPPING THREADS: Y, but please don't make it too much of a habit.
🌙 CRAU: N? He doesn't come from a CRAU, but I'm open to characters coming from CRAU to interact.
🌙 OFF LIMITS: No eye gore or snuff, please! Thanks!
🌙 OPTING OUT: Comments for this entry are screened, so if you want to opt out, do so here, no questions asked. <3 I'd like to thread with everyone, but if you don't want to, I'll absolutely respect that.

🌖 FIRST IMPRESSIONS (OPTIONAL)

🌙 VISUAL: 5'6. A little chubby, but not enough to be fat. Brown eyes, brown bowlcut hair. Very relaxed body language, because he usually doesn't worry about himself much, but luckily not as bad posture as one of his brothers.
🌙 FASHION: Casually. Osomatsu prefers comfort over style, so he's usually just in a normal shirt and jeans. On the off-chance he does dress up, he'll probably go for the most easy-to-wear and obtain clothes as possible. Preferably with some kind of red in them. The boy has a theme color and he keeps to it.
🌙 DEMEANOR: Osomatsu, at first glance, comes off as a carefree idiot...and that's because he kind of is. He's good-natured and a little bit sly, as well as being confident and charismatic, sometimes too much so. He's very open to treading people like old friends from the moment he meets them, and this honestly doesn't change much the better you get to know him, though it'll take a bit for people to see beyond 'carefree moron' to the more cautious, careful bits of his personality, and that's because he fears getting attached to people too much - his abandonment issues get to him a lot. He has a habit of repeating last words of sentences if he gets excited ('So we should go ahead and do it! Let's go, let's go!', 'It's super exciting, right, right?', etc) and a physical quirk of scratching under his nose when he thinks on things or is particularly pleased. He laughs a lot, and has difficulty with keeping a filter at times, but he ultimately means well even if it comes off as immature.
🌙 SOUND: I'll be using his English dub voice, so that would be Billy Kametz (Josuke Higashikata in JJBA, Ferdinand Von Aegir in Fire Emblem). The English dub has not been released yet - so here's a clip of Josuke instead.
🌙 SCENT: Pretty typical. Doesn't smell awful, but doesn't really smell like roses, either. Occasionally wears some cologne, but that's only if he remembers. Most often smells faintly of alcohol.

🌙 MENTAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: None!
🌙 MAGICAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: Nope, nothin'.
🌙 PHYSICAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: He's a decent fighter though very untrained. However, he's very agile and good on his feet - ballet training as a kid and keeping it up on occasion served him well. Otherwise, he's very much just a normal human being.

"SNAPPY"

GROUND
LVL 15

Ability: Hyper Cutter
Nature: Naughty
A chipped Trapinch Osomatsu was given at the start of his Team Rocket training, and his starting pokemon. Snappy can often be found outside of his pokeball - mostly because Osomatsu tends to treat him more like a friend or pet than he does a normal pokemon, and basically just trusts him to stay alongside him, which he does. He has a tendency to bite strangers, and is very headstrong, much like his owner, but he seems to care about Osomatsu as much as he cares about him.

"CHARISMA LEGEND/CHARRY"

FIRE
LVL 5

Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Sassy
Osomatsu's second-obtained pokemon, unchipped and obtained at level 5. Charisma Legend - or 'Charry', for short - is a spoiled vulpix who seems to think that she is more predestined for things more beautiful than crimes or battles. So...she basically acts like Osomatsu's former friend/crush Totoko Yowai, and he's very much aware of it, but finds the nature cute anyway. Despite her spoiled nature, she is loyal and tends to take a motherly role over the rest of Osomatsu's team, and sometimes Osomatsu himself, for better or worse.

"THINKINA"

PSYCHIC
LVL 1

Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Quiet
An abra hatched from an egg and given to Osomatsu. Thinkina's first act was to commit a book of sign language to Osomatsu's mind, and she probably hasn't had a single thought since. Well, that's not entirely true - she seems to always be thinking about something, but even Osomatsu is not quite sure what. She's an enigma, mostly because she can't speak human language, but she seems to know more than she lets on - she's just not sure how to communicate it. She is, however, very obedient. Osomatsu likes to try to guess what she's thinking, but he's never sure if he's right.

MOVESET

"RANGER"

LVL 1

Ability: Stamina
Nature: Quirky
A Mudbray hatched from an egg given to Osomatsu from Steven D. Ranger is...well. He's enthusiastic, likes going fast, and seems to just want to do things a donkey pokemon really shouldn't. Osomatsu has to try to keep him under control on the regular, and using him for riding would result in one very reckless, dangerous ride, but Osomatsu has confidence he'll control him...eventually. He's like the biggest kid amongst the team, and often when he's out of his pokeball likes to either put his head over Osomatsu's own, or try to chase his own tail. He seems sure he'll catch it someday.

CHARACTER NAME: Osomatsu Matsuno
CHARACTER AGE: 24
SERIES: Osomatsu-San
CHRONOLOGY: S2 E24 'Sakura'; immediately before the plane crash
CLASS: Anti-Hero. Really wants to be an actual Hero, but he's just...he's not good at it yet. He's too chaotic.
HOUSING: De Chima Residence #003

BACKGROUND: Osomatsu was born to Matsuzou and Matsuyo Matsuno as the oldest of six boys born at the same time - sextuplets. The doctors reported it was a miracle that all six boys survived the birth, as sextuplets were incredibly rare (and they all were born incredibly tiny), and it's still even more a miracle they survived into adulthood. Still, it was sheer luck and determination that they were what they were. Six little fighters. Six little demons as the neighborhood tended to refer to them as as they grew up, but still.

Osomatsu grew up as the oldest, followed by Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and finally, Todomatsu, but for the time that they were young, they all seemed much the same. During their childhood, they were just six troublemaking kids. No more, no less, though even during this time, Osomatsu tended to take a 'leadership' role. He was the oldest, after all. He was chonan. That made him the leader, and most of the time, all of his little brothers accepted this easily.

Their life did not come without difficulties, however. This difficulty namely came in the form of a man who arrived at their house during their childhood, specifically at age 10. This man's name was Tougou, and he was who Osomatsu would later in life refer to as 'that asshole in the checkered suit', or 'the Terrifying Lodger'. He seemed very much like a normal man at first, even perhaps too much of a normal man - too giving in a sense, always ready to give. He came to the house with purses - purses with money in them, which he gave away as 'presents' to the boys, and played himself off as a harmless eccentric, maybe a collector. It wasn't as if they weren't friends with such people anyway - family 'friends' included Iyami, a mostly-harmless scam artist and Dekapan and Dayon, a questionably-legal scientist and his far-too-odd assistant that was probably a cryptid of some kind, in actuality.

This all changed when Osomatsu was over at a friend's house, and in a horrible coincidence, a man arrived to rob the house at the same time he was there. The man was a mystery to the friend, but Osomatsu recognized him immediately as Tougou. This led to a confrontation where Tougou admitted to have had killed several animals before, and at least 3 people in order to keep his lifestyle going - and if he told anyone, he'd make sure the same happened to his family. He eventually forced him to assist in at least one robbery, causing Osomatsu in the future to have an instinctive aversion to using guns at all.

Osomatsu tried to quietly hint at what had happened to his parents, but by the time they had caught on, so had Tougou. The man attempted to kidnap Osomatsu as a last resort, eventually only being stopped by the intervention of another friend of theirs by the name of Chibita, and even that was accidental. The words Osomatsu first said after this incident was that it proved that he 'couldn't rely on anyone in those situations.'

Time passed, and the boys grew up. Despite the incident, Osomatsu grew up to be relatively stable. It was in high school that the boys slowly started separating and trying to differentiate themselves after many remarks about how they simply couldn't be told apart, how they shared everything (clothing styles, speaking styles, even crushes - they all liked Totoko Yowai, a popular girl who lived nearby since childhood), how being sextuplets was basically all they had. Osomatsu, himself, never truly minded the so-called lack of individuality, but the rest of his brothers certainly did. It was a relatively lonely existence that only got more fractured when they all had a fight the day before graduation due to their frustrations with each other, leading to their relationships being even more fractured, but eventually mending over time.

As they became adults, they kept their individualized personalities, but eventually leaned back into some kind of friendly dynamic with each other. It was around this time that they found 6 nearly-identical hoodies, styled to different colors. Osomatsu picked red, because it was a 'leaderly' color, and it fit him as the leader. His other brothers picked blue, green, purple, yellow, and pink in that order - which also seemed to sum up their personalities fairly well, despite the fact that in the eyes of many...they'd basically failed at life. They were jobless, not going to college, and had no training whatsoever, making them essentially just layabouts. However, Osomatsu was fine with this as well - it was easy, and it kept him close to his brothers - what else could he ask for?

And again, it couldn't last forever. This time, it was the third brother, Choromatsu, who eventually grew tired of their situation. He himself had taken to a personality Osomatsu referred to as 'self-awareness rising', where he was very aware of how lazy and useless they were all being, and felt ashamed of it, but didn't do anything to change it --up until that point. Choromatsu found a job thanks to their father's help in the city. Osomatsu considered this a betrayal, since that meant he'd be moving out, he'd be leaving the rest of them behind...and it was worse, since in all actuality, Choromatsu was the brother Osomatsu was closest to. His best friend.

Osomatsu reacted with rage on the night of his going-away party, eventually to the point of being forcibly thrown out of the party altogether due to this fact, and it only got worse when Choromatsu moved out the next day, and Osomatsu didn't even see him off. Todomatsu, seeing this as undeniably awful and rude, confronted him, which led to a fight. Thanks to this, Todomatsu soon left as well, followed by all the others...until Osomatsu was eventually alone. This wouldn't last for long, however, and soon Osomatsu had united all of his brothers again under the same roof, with the same lifestyle - they'd all gotten lonely.

This lasted for another year, up until another incident happened: they got a phonecall when they were all out fishing. Their father had had a heart attack and collapsed, and he was now going into the hospital. All of them reacted in shock and horror, immediately rushing off to go see him, though this was soon followed by guilt when the cause of this tragedy had been revealed: he was overworked. Their father had been providing for the family this entire time, with them doing nothing, and he'd done so much that he'd driven himself to the brink. It was saddening.

Osomatsu, in an uncharacteristic display, declared that now was the time they had to start working. Despite their surprise, the other brothers agreed, and began to go seek their own fortunes. Osomatsu began to try to do the same, but still in the midst of it...felt lonely. There was something missing. Something wrong with growing up. He walked past all the places they used to go when they were all together, and they felt more empty. Less fun. He eventually ended up on a bench, alone, thinking things out--up until Totoko showed up.

Despite her usual abrasiveness, Totoko sat and had a simple talk with Osomatsu, helping him think about the future. And despite it all, after talking to her...he felt a little better. He thanked her, of course, but she surprisingly took it in stride. Maybe they were all growing up, he thought. They all seemed happy, but he...he didn't want to lose them. Not fully. He wanted to let them know what he'd learned--they could still all manage to be a family, but still be their own people.

He'd do that tomorrow, he thought.

He was never the best at keeping those kinds of promises.

PERSONALITY: Though Osomatsu may come off as fairly simple in personality on the offset, the truth is that that idea couldn't be further from it. He's very much a man of contradictions - brave, but cowardly. Mean, but caring. Stupid, but sly. He has a lot of facets to him that he often refuses to show anyone on the offset, leading to anyone's first impression of him likely coming off as 'a well-meaning, but impulsive kind of guy who sometimes lets his emotions get the better of him, even when he shouldn't', but this is only half of the truth.

He means well. Most of the time, he does. (Such as in S1E2, 'The Melancholy of Osomatsu', where he simply wants to spend time with his brothers...but screws all of their own free times up accidentally.) He has a degree to which he's self-serving, a degree to which he forgets that other people are also a concern, but a minute after he realizes this, you'd be hard pressed to see a time where he truly went with the option that benefited him alone. He doesn't particularly see himself as a good person, but sometimes he sees himself as 'a person who was put into a position to do a good thing.' He's far from selfless, and of course if he does something nice there's a high chance he'll look towards whoever he helped for some kind of reward, even if it's merely just praise, but he will sacrifice quite a bit if he needs to. He's not the best at making tough calls, either, but when told to choose between his head and his heart, he'll usually choose his heart and worry about the logistical conflicts later. He's not always the best choice for anything, but if people truly depend on him, he'll give it his all.

He's childish - very naturally immature and without a filter, but in this case it's mostly because he hates the idea of covering up who it is. (As he himself says in Osomatsu-San the Movie: "Lying is bad, though." That after blatantly revealing to his entire high school reunion class that his brothers and he were all worthless layabouts without batting an eyelash.) If he stacks lies upon lies, it has a higher chance of collapse, so he feels it's easier to simply be entirely honest with who he is and how he likes to behave, and if someone doesn't like that, they're not worth his time anyway. Naturally, this makes him more popular with kids than it does adults, but he doesn't mind that either, honestly. He likes acting as a big brother figure to those younger than him - even unrelated - because in truth, he has a big heart and quite a few soft spots. Anyone who cares about him, first, and makes the effort to get along with him will immediately be treated with unconditional warmth, but he's still the sort of person who, if he caught onto say, a little girl who wanted to make friends but was easily frightened, would be the one to reach out to her as gently as he could, doing things like sitting down beside her on the sidewalk with a bucket of chalk and drawing silly pictures to make her laugh. In truth, he values other people moreso than himself, though he's loathe to admit it because it sounds sad, and because he's not fond of the idea of being hurt by this trait...though he has been burnt before, and he's one to forgive easily, but not entirely forget.

Despite how childish he is most of the time, he does have a point to where he'll realize a situation is serious, and he'll tone down his usual jokes and antics to buckle down and focus. He can get degrees of upset that are honestly just comical and come off more as temper tantrums if he's told a whim he's following isn't right (though he'll usually own up to it if it isn't in the end), or if he's told to stop doing something he enjoys, but if people other than him are hurt, that's when he buckles down and has his limits. Insult him? Sure, go ahead. Insult his brothers, an innocent kid, or someone who can't defend themselves in general? He'll call someone out on that without a hint of humor in his tone, and if they push it, he won't hesitate to defend them because it's the right thing to do. He's actually a fairly decent planner, and against someone who doesn't mean well if he's the one charged to take charge of the situation, he's someone who looks very deeply at people and can sometimes realize strengths in others they might not notice themselves. Similarly, in emotional disputes, he'd prefer to handle them with levity, but if something serious is happening, he'll push that aside because he knows that if he were like that, he'd simply want someone to be there for him, too.

He has a fair bit of hidden intellect. Though he may seem even downright stupid to begin with - and he'll admit, his strengths aren't in book-knowledge - he's very street-smart and emotionally-smart. He's not someone who you should trust with any exact calculations, but he is someone you could probably count on to see solutions other people don't and honestly surprise people with the most unconventional plans that still, somehow, work. He likes taking charge and assuming a leadership role, but if someone else has this covered, he's usually willing to put his faith in them, especially if he sees a situation as being out of his depth normally. Sometimes, he may play up his own idiotic qualities, whether that be to make someone's guard lower to surprise them later, or to bolster someone's confidence, or to simply make someone feel more at ease - often, there's a method to the way he acts, it's just getting him to own up to that being nigh-impossible. (As shown in S1 E15, 'The Ichimatsu Incident' where he plays incredibly dumb in an effort to get Ichimatsu to own up to an embarrassing secret, and in a number of other episodes where he pulls similar tricks.)

However, he is very flawed as an individual. He's impulsive to a fault, and if he sees some kind of resolution as the best option it can be a trial to get him to see any other way as better, because he's stubborn - but he can be talked down and see reason most of the time. (Though he's still not a person that should be left around big red buttons that say 'DON'T PRESS THIS' alone, because he has a natural curiosity, too, and no matter how many times he's told, if he's left alone with it...that button will end up pressed.) He's hot-headed and sometimes if his temper flares, he can say things he doesn't really mean, (as seen in S1 E2 'The Melancholy of Osomatsu', where he remarks that he 'wishes he were an only child', though that is the farthest thing from the truth) though he'll feel awful about it later and usually end up apologizing if he's crossed any kind of line. He has natural addictions on top of impulses, namely towards gambling and drinking, and he finds it difficult to resist those, though he can if he really, really has to. He sometimes likes to go with the easy solution to problems because it's the easy solution, and will groan if he has to do any hard work, but if it pays off, he'll be satisfied enough.

His greatest flaw is that he depends on others far too much. (Best seen in S1 E24 'Letter', where he reacts with outright pensive anger to the idea of his brothers leaving him and their lifestyle of slacking around - causing them to be driven away even further with his actions.) He cares deeply about others and how they feel, and being alone actually frightens him. He needs companionship, because if he's left to brood on his own, he'll lose all his motivation. He's a people-person in the sense that he likes people, he needs people, and even if he's not always the best with people, he tries.

Sometimes too much so. Similarly, if someone hurts him or refuses to let him in no matter how hard he tries, he'll lash out (seen in a number of episodes, most notably 'Letter' where he outright hits his brothers in his pensive state), and ultimately that hurts him further in the end even if during this downswing he'll spew insults and snap only to feel ashamed of himself later. He doesn't know who he is sometimes outside of being the 'oldest brother of the sextuplets', and he has trouble defining himself past helping others (his vaguely-defined life goal in promotional material is to become a 'charisma legend that lights up the sky one day', whatever that means, and it is shown in S2 E24 'Sakura' in his talk with Totoko that he has a lot of uncertainties). He isn't sure who he is or what he's meant for, and it scares him to think too hard on it, so he doesn't.

He's not completely a hero, even if he'd like to be one - he has far too many flaws holding him back for him to ever completely consider himself a hero - but he is trying, and even if that makes one person feel better...that's probably enough. It's what his brothers would ultimately want, anyway. Probably.

POWER:

ANIME DURABILITY: Osomatsu's first power is having superhuman 'anime' durability. He can get a building dropped on him fine, he can crash through walls without breaking bones, and it'll always come off as more 'cartoonish' than anything, but this does not mean he's invulnerable. Stabbing, shots, weapon violence and sustained physical violence can still seriously harm him, and he isn't deathproof, but he's very much more durable than a normal human, even if this feels passive and he doesn't entirely notice it himself.

LUCK CYCLE: Osomatsu has the (non-canon) power of having a cycle of eternal fortune and misfortune in turn passively. This means that although he may experience massive spurts of luck, it'll always come with a drawback later in upswings and downswings. During his luck upswings, he might be more capable than he usually is, having fate just suddenly turn his way. For example, if he's in the middle of a fight and an upswing happens, an opponent's gun might jam, for instance, and have no apparent reason why, allowing him to get the upper hand. However, this in turn might push them into switching to a bladed weapon with the inevitable downswing, forcing him to adapt in turn. It's really about metaphorically rolling the dice, counting his cards right - something he's never particularly been good at in canon before, but can focus down on now. This is a passive power, so he can't really force himself into either of the two luck factors - he just has to try to time himself properly and work with what he has.

ADAPTIVE MUSCLE MEMORY: Finally, Osomatsu's last (non-canon) power is having an adaptive muscle memory. If he sees something being done by someone else that he can physically copy, by studying their actions intently, he can pull it off easily himself. Such as seeing someone fire a weapon, and becoming trained to fire it merely from seeing them do it and mimicking the action as a result - or seeing a video of someone performing parkour, and suddenly being able to do the same after watching it a couple of times. This is all restricted to his memory of course, so what stays in there long-term is a bit more limited than what stays short-term, but if he keeps his knowledge going, the results could easily be permanent in some cases.

COMMUNITY POST (VOICE) SAMPLE: heyooooo!

so this is the local network, huh? neat :3 so. newbie hero here! that being said - anyone got any advice on that front? i've met a few nice people so far who are willing to give me advice, but more is always appreciated. i can't pay in like, money, but i can pay in gratitude and stuff like that and doing stuff for gratitude is like the hero way.

not that i'd personally do most things for just gratitude yet but that's why i'm a hero in training and not a full out hero yet

that having been said, any other newbies wanna meet up, too? there's strength in numbers and i think it'd help everyone. might be making a newbies club. free hats are included and maybe punch and pie 'cause people like that. maybe beer instead of punch maybe both it depends on the age range we get here. anyways if anyone wants to try to make that up hmu i need more friends here

anyway!!! i'd also like to know from you more experienced people if all the cool superhero stuff i heard of happening before is like, a good idea to work with. the superhero landing, for one. should i practice that or will it hurt??? i don't want to get hurt when i'm trying to look badass y'know 3: also what is the policy on heroes carrying stuff like katanas to make up for not having flashy powers. i'm not saying i'd buy a katana

no wait i totally am i'm looking at a listing for a katana and i'm sizing up my options for crime slicing and dicing. y'gotta improvise in these kinds of situations. but yeah, is that allowed? i wanna know. i'm also wondering about like, alter egos. should i have one of those? if i get a hero name, i want it to be cool....like....jackpot. that's a badass one. that's my alias. original alias donut steel or i'll sew. : |

but yeah, if you've got any answers to any of this, just post!! i'd love to hear opinions and stuff. <3

Really wants to be an actual Hero, but he's just...he's not good at it yet. He's too chaotic. HOUSING: De Chima Residence #003 BACKGROUND: Osomatsu was born to Matsuzou and Matsuyo Matsuno as the oldest of six boys born at the same time - sextuplets. The words Osomatsu first said after this incident was that it proved that he 'couldn't rely on anyone in those situations.' Time passed, and the boys grew up. (As shown in S1 E15, 'The Ichimatsu Incident' where he plays incredibly dumb in an effort to get Ichimatsu to own up to an embarrassing secret, and in a number of other episodes where he pulls similar tricks.) However, he is very flawed as an individual. Probably. POWER: ANIME DURABILITY: Osomatsu's first power is having superhuman 'anime' durability. 〈 CHARACTER SAMPLES 〉 COMMUNITY POST (VOICE) SAMPLE: heyooooo! so this is the local network, huh? neat :3 so. newbie hero here! that being said - anyone got any advice on that front? i've met a few nice people so far who are willing to give me advice, but more is always appreciated. i can't pay in like, money, but i can pay in gratitude and stuff like that and doing stuff for gratitude is like the hero way. not that i'd personally do most things for just gratitude yet but that's why i'm a hero in training and not a full out hero yet that having been said, any other newbies wanna meet up, too? there's strength in numbers and i think it'd help everyone. might be making a newbies club. free hats are included and maybe punch and pie 'cause people like that. maybe beer instead of punch maybe both it depends on the age range we get here. anyways if anyone wants to try to make that up hmu i need more friends here anyway!!! i'd also like to know from you more experienced people if all the cool superhero stuff i heard of happening before is like, a good idea to work with. the superhero landing, for one. should i practice that or will it hurt??? i don't want to get hurt when i'm trying to look badass y'know 3: also what is the policy on heroes carrying stuff like katanas to make up for not having flashy powers. i'm not saying i'd buy a katana no wait i totally am i'm looking at a listing for a katana and i'm sizing up my options for crime slicing and dicing. y'gotta improvise in these kinds of situations. but yeah, is that allowed? i wanna know. i'm also wondering about like, alter egos. should i have one of those? if i get a hero name, i want it to be cool....like....jackpot. that's a badass one. that's my alias. original alias donut steel or i'll sew. : | but yeah, if you've got any answers to any of this, just post!! i'd love to hear opinions and stuff. <3 LOGS POST (PROSE) SAMPLE: From the TDM~ FINAL NOTES: Nothing I can think of~

World Information: Very much like the normal world, apart with strange comedic occurrences on the regular. These are often not really mentioned again, but it can be assured that most of the events where someone possibly could've died didn't happen.

Personal History: Osomatsu was born to Matsuzou and Matsuyo Matsuno as the oldest of six boys born at the same time - sextuplets. He'd do that tomorrow, he thought.

He was never the best at keeping those kinds of promises.

Personality: Osomatsu is a man who can be summed up with a lot of contradictions. He's energetic in personality, but he's lazy to the extent where he's considered a life of NEET (No Employment, Education, or Training)-dom is better than getting a job or going to school of any kind. He's very emotionally in-tune with others, but gets blinded by his own emotions at times. He's very headstrong, but if someone he loves tries to persuade him, chances are he'll back down. He says he'd be fine being an only child at times, but that couldn't be farther from the truth.

In truth, he values his worth by who he is and how people see him - he's not one with a unique trait like his little brothers, he's not the sporty one, the fashionable one, the smart one, he's the oldest one, and that is how he judges his actions. He measures his success by the effect it has had on his younger brothers and how it makes them feel - and put into a situation without them, he essentially isn't sure what to do. Who is he, if he's not the oldest? What is his purpose in life? He's not sure.

He comes off as naturally charismatic and confident to others, and easily can draw the attention of others whether he'd like to or not. He hasn't really experienced a 'normal' life, so his perception of 'right' and 'wrong' is a bit skewed. However, if he sees something as right or something as wrong, he won't hesitate to call it as he sees it. He's not one to lie (in his own words 'lying is bad, though'), and he tends to be open with his emotions...when they're positive. If they're negative, he can be very closed off, and antisocial even, but he'll usually eventually bounce back.

He takes life as it comes and claims his only goal is to be a 'charisma legend that lights up the sky one day', but how he'll go about making that happen is yet to be seen. In truth, he just wants to be happy. That's all there is to him - he wants to be happy, and he wants his family and friends to be happy. He has very simple goals he hides under ridiculous ideas like that, and some might say that's a trait that appears in all members of his family, in a way.

He likes to believe in the good in people. If Osomatsu meets someone, he usually wants to assume the best of them, and he sees everyone as 'well, at the end of the day, we're all only a person, aren't we?' But if that trust is broken, he's likely to forgive, but not forget, though many can vouch that even with that he has a notable lack of caution. Not to a suicidal extent, but it's definitely worrying.

At the end of the day, Osomatsu just really wants to be a good person. He wants to know who he is, and he wants to support everyone else. That's the way things should be.

Key themes:

- Individuality: Osomatsu has never been good at differentiating himself from the rest of his brothers, or his family as a whole, so his entire story is about being an individual and showing who he really is beyond that. It's about being independent, despite struggles.

- Accepting Adulthood: Osomatsu has a naturally childlike, immature personality, so his entire journey has been about growing up. Becoming an adult. It's been more difficult for him than most people, but he's made significant progress, he thinks.

Main Motivation: To grow as an individual and discover who he is outside of just being his normal 'big brother' self.

Skills: Honestly, Osomatsu's skills are fairly normal. He knows how to take care of himself (even if he's not too used to/fond of it yet), he's pretty charismatic and good at getting people to listen to him, and he's a quick learner. He does have some leftover athletic ability from being in ballet as a child (he was the prima donna of his junior class!) but it's hardly professional. He's intuitive, and sometimes sees what others don't - he's even fairly emotionally adept, and has a remarkable degree of empathy at times, but nothing above the average skills of a modern-day 24 year old Japanese male.

Item: One photo of his brothers all together ( here ) - he looks at it when he gets lonely.

Sample: boop!

Notes: I'm pretty new to Dreamwidth RP, so I hope this is okay! <3 Thank you for considering me.

Backtagging: Yes, in most cases, just let me know if you'll be slow.
Threadhopping: Yes
Fourthwalling: Yes, as long as you make it amusing
Offensive subjects (elaborate): I'm fine with some crude humor or crass jokes, but I won't deal with outright bigotry or anything too bad.

[IC]
This is the permissions list for IC (in-character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired. With IC permissions, it's a good idea to elaborate on what other players can expect from your character if they choose to do any of the following:

Hugging this character: Yes, though he'll be confused beyond words if it happens at random. From anyone he grows to trust, though, yeah, sure, he's very snuggly.
Kissing this character: Yes, see above, honestly.
Flirting with this character: Yes, but he'll be a little shell-shocked for a few seconds before immediately flirting back. Open to all genders, too.
Fighting with this character: Depends, not really a combat-oriented character most of the time.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Yes, but no permanent injury. I'm also not able to deal with very detailed gore or eye trauma in general - sorry!
Killing this character: No. I really wouldn't like to play that out, sorry!
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes (Can't promise you'll like what you find, though)

Warnings: Crude humor, sexual references, swearing
